Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain REST APIs with solid engineering fundamentals. Apply API best practices: versioning, validation, error handling, authentication/authorization (OAuth2/OIDC, JWT), idempotency, and performance tuning. Build backend integrations with Azure, AWS, and GCP using Python and provider SDKs. Implement observability: structured logging, metrics, tracing, health checks, and audit trails. Contribute to automated testing, CI/CD, and secure deployment workflows. Collaborate in an Agile team environment with mandatory ceremonies. Participate in the 24×7 on‑call rotation (approximately every 6 weeks). Support documentation, code reviews, and adherence to engineering standards. Must‑Have Qualifications1. Proficient in a development/scripting language: Python and Power Shell (Power Shell preferred).2. Prior experience with RESTful APIs.3. Strong understanding of Azure Identity & Access Management / Entra ID.4. Experience with Azure services (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS).5. Experience with git basics (push, pull, merge, commit, branch, checkout).6. Ability to work during Eastern Time Zone ceremonies (10:30 AM Argentina). Nice‑to‑Have Qualifications Azure Certifications (AZ‑104, AZ‑204, AZ‑305, etc.). Familiarity with other cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Client Cloud). Previous experience working in an Agile team. IaC tools: Terraform or Ansible. Experience with API Gateways (Azure APIM, AWS API Gateway, GCP API Gateway). Experience with asynchronous Python for I/O‑heavy operations.
