Supervises semi to highly skilled production, maintenance, and/or parts distribution warehouse employees on an assigned shift to ensure the manufacture of products and/or execution of parts orders within established delivery, quality, safety and cost standards. The supervisor is the first-line liaison between the production employees and the management staff and thus also serves the function of representing the company's interests with the shop floor staff. Major Duties Communicate the local action plan; explain how this relates to the function's strategy and action plan and to the broader organization's mission and vision; motivate people to achieve local business goals.Respond to personal objectives and use performance management systems to improve personal performance; or monitor the performance of the team, allocate work and review completion, take appropriate corrective action to ensure timeliness and quality, and contribute to formal individual performance management and appraisal.Assign short-term work schedules to a team of subordinates in order to achieve expectations while following established timelines.Supervise others working within established operational systems.Follow the organization's health, safety, and environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and mandatory instructions to identify and mitigate environmental risks and risks to the well-being of self and others in the workplace; instruct the team in safe working methods; identify instances of risky behaviors within the team and take appropriate action, escalating serious issues as appropriate.Troubleshoot and diagnose highly complex equipment and systems for emergency repairs.Operate complex machines and systems, adjusting processes to optimize quality and productivity. Also responsible for generating solutions to complex inefficiencies.Contribute to the preparation of various data and analytics reports.Identify, within the team, instances of noncompliance with the organization's policies and procedures and/or relevant regulatory codes and codes of conduct, reporting these instances and escalating issues as appropriate. Requirements Availability to work the night shift: 0 am to 7:30 am and Saturdays from 0 to 6 am.Graduates or advanced students of engineering; or graduate technicians in the field of operations.Level of English: Upper Intermediate.A minimum of two years' experience in production processes.A minimum of two years' experience as leader.Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and SAP.Knowledge in Power BI (Desirable).Good communication, influencing and team-working skills.Analytical skills.
